Medical Social Workers search and explain benefits, find better ways to improve patient’s health maintenance, facilitates long term planning to promote independence and provide opportunities to take advantage of a variety of community resources designed to assist the elderly with their personal concerns and help alleviate their troubles.

For many years, the “golden age” are anything but that. Debilitating disorders, decreased hearing and vision abilities, loss of memory, responses, functions, mobility and, above all, loneliness often make this a period of extreme stress and guilt.

This is particularly trying for the new generation, caught between the demands of raising and care of children and building financial asses, and working responsibilities, on one hand, and the growing needs of aged parents and grand parents on the other, our Social Services employees will help them make the right decisions.
